Delete your account

You can delete your Knot So Complicated account, and everything in it, at any time.

In the app

Open Account (the round button at the top of My Weddings), tap Delete account, and confirm with the code we email you. Your account is deleted straight away, and you're signed out on every device.

By email

If you can't use the app, or your version doesn't have Delete account yet, email hello@knotsocomplicated.com from the email address you sign in to the app with, and ask us to delete your account. We only accept requests from that address, so nobody else can delete your account.

What's deleted

• Your account and the weddings you own, with their ceremonies, guest lists and costs. Weddings you own are deleted for everyone you shared them with; weddings shared with you stay with their owners.
• In the app, this happens straight away. By email, we do it within 30 days of your request.
• Copies in our backups are cleared within 30 days.
• Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.
